The
lightest power supply for an X-ray source |
| The
compact 3K5 is one of the most reliable and efficient
X-ray source power supplies available. The modern
design, based on inverter technology gives operational
stability minus of 0.01 % (for 10% power supply
fluctuation) and has the additional advantages of low
weight (45 kg) and compact size. There are safety
devices, consisting of a warning light and the generator
power trips in the case of X-ray tube overheating. An
optional water chiller is available to cool the X-ray
tube and its generator.
Compact
3K5 in normally available in three versions (manual, PC
controlled via a PC serial port or both) and in three
configurations (standard 19” rack mountable, stand
alone cabinet and inserted in a working table with a
vertical or horizontal tube mount and a large working
area).
All
three Compact 3K5 generators have good flexibility and
adaptability. They have been designed to acclaimed
standards.
